Itinerary

Arriving at Noi Bai airport, your guide will greet you at airport with a ‘Welcome’ sign board, and then you will be transferred to your hotel in Hanoi - the capital city of Vietnam, is an elegant city located on the banks of the Red River with the tranquil ‘Restored Sword’ Lake at its heart.

Overnight in Hanoi

Meal: No

07:30 - 08:30 Tour guide and shuttle bus will pick you up at the hotel in Hanoi old quarter and Hanoi Opera House then depart for the Hanoi city full day tour.

09:00 First stop is named Tran Quoc pagoda on the West Lake, the oldest pagoda in Vietnam then we visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and off to one side of the Mausoleum is the One-Pillar Pagoda which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 - the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi.

11:00 Visit the colorful traditions of the 54 ethnic groups of Viet Nam, in the Ethnology Museum.

13:00 Bus takes you to a local restaurant in Hanoi Old Quarter, have a rest and enjoy some lunch.

14:00 Visit the Temple of Literature, the most famous temple situated in Hanoi, also functioned as Vietnam's first university. It was first constructed in 1070, under King Ly Nhan Tong and dedicated to Confucius, sages and scholars. A vast structure that has existed to present day. We continue drive to the legendary Hoan Kiem Lake to visit Ngoc Son Temple, dedicated to Van Xuong Saint and former general commander Tran Hung Dao, for his struggle against Mongolians. You will also see the beautiful Vietnamese and French architecture around the lake.

16:00 - 16:30: Arrive at the hotel in Hanoi old quarter and Hanoi Opera House then drop you at your hotel.

Overnight in Hanoi

8.00-8.30 am: our tourguide will pick you up from your hotel in Old Quarter to depart to Ninh Binh city

 10.30-11.00 am: You will reach Hoa Lu Ancient Capital.

In 968, Dinh Bo Linh declared himself as the King. Since then Hoa Lu existed as the capital for the next 41 years (968 – 1009), of which 12 years was under the Dinh dynasty – King Dinh Tien Hoang, the country named Dai Co Viet, and 29 years later was under the Le dynasty – King Le Dai Hanh. In 1010, King Ly Thai To moved the capital from Hoa Lu to Thang Long – present day Hanoi. Hoa Lu became the old citadel. In Hoa Lu there are now 2 temples have been built on the ground of the old royal palace, one is dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang, the other is to King Le Dai Hanh. The visit offers a chance to know more about part of feudal dynasties and historical periods in Vietnamese history.

Today you will enjoy buffet lunch at local restaurant in Tam Coc. The food is served with Asian style, local dishes, organic vegetable.

 After finishing your lunch, you will be taking the rowing boat at Tam Coc Harbour. Arranged by local people here, the boat is rowed by both hand and legs. The boat will take you to 3 specular caves with hundreds of limestones on the way. If you travel during harvest season, you will see many terrace rice fields in golden colors.

The boat rowing will be in around 2 hours. Not only you could see the peaceful scenery of mountain, rice paddy fields, temples, you also have chances to learn about local people cultures on their daily life.

 Optional activities: Enjoy a bicycle ride through the countryside after the boat trip (Bicyle ride fee is included)

4:00 pm: leave Tam Coc and drive back to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi at around 6:30 pm. Overnight in Hanoi

Meal: Breakfast,Lunch

In the morning from 7:30 – 08:30 A.M, we will do several pick- up trips around Hanoi old quarter then we are heading 189kms towards Halong Bay.

 At around 12:00 noon, we arrive at Tuan Chau harbour and refresh at the Oasis Bay Lounge for about 20 minutes before boarding. Transfer by small boat to our cruise. Welcome drink, cruise briefing, safety instructions, before we check you  into your cabins. Cruise boat will pull-up anchor and our program will commence.

 Then we will enjoy special lunch will be served on board while cruising past all the islets. After having lunch, the Oasis Bay will continue exploring the wonders of Halong bay. Oasis Bay has a special and very private route through the bay, away from the clutter of all the other honking boats fighting for position.

 At 15:30 p.m, Explore the emerald waters of Halong Bay by Kayak. Our guides will you through a grotto cavern into a hidden lagoon where they  tell you all about the area, and the folklore of how ‘Ha Long Bay’ got its name (translates to ‘Descending Dragon Bay’). This is a great moment to get some action photos in the bay, if you have a waterproof pouch for your phone or camera.

 Then return to our boat and take relax on the sundeck with a few cocktails complimented by a variety of tropical fruits and best local wines. Then attend a cooking demonstration with our Chef to learn one of the most popular cuisines in Vietnam: spring rolls, or refresh yourself in outdoor big Jacuzzi.

Tonight we will enjoy a 5 course tasting menu, prepared by our team of chefs. You are free to try evening Activities, relax at leisure: squid fishing. Overnight on cruise

At 06:30 A.M, wake up to a very special morning with an organized Taichi class among the peaceful surroundings of Halong. Then we enjoy coffee & tea with assorted homemade pastries, fresh juices….

 You can choose either relax or visit Sung Sot Cave, hiking up and down 600 steps to the magnificent limestone stalactites and stalagmites of the most beautiful and biggest cave in Halong bay then we return our boat.

At 09:30 A.M, check-out of your cabins and settle your drink tab

 A wonderful brunch buffet will a wide assortment of dishes no matter what mood you are in, will be served while the Oasis Bay is cruising back to Tuan Chau harbor.

The Oasis Bay bus will collect you from our lounge at the harbor and drive you back to Hanoi city. Arrive in Hanoi old quarter at around 17:30 P.M then we will transfer to airport for next destination.
